pet sitting customer testimonials

What our customers say

"Kirstie looks after my cat and four rabbits every time we go away. Mowgli, who is frightened of almost everyone, absolutely loves her and runs to her every time she calls to collect the keys. The rabbits are perfectly looked after, with the cages all spotlessly clean.

We can now go away knowing that our furry friends are getting the best possible care. We would recommend Glitterpaws to anyone."

Marilyn, Horsham

"Tabitha is a rescue cat and has been with us only a few months, so we were especially concerned about her care and routine whilst we took a break. Leaving her at a cattery was a non starter, so we were excited to find Glitterpaws.

Kirstie came to visit and we were confident that we had made the right decision, Tabitha liked her and so did we!

Kirstie visited morning and evening each day and as we unlocked the front door Tabitha came to greet us. When Kirstie popped in later Tabitha was pleased to see her again as well.

Thank you Kirstie, we will be in touch next time we take a break."

Richard and Gina, Storrington

A bit about Glitterpaws cat sitting and me

Kirstie Morley-Nice owner of Glitterpaws with Electra, a blue spotted bengal

Hi, my name is Kirstie and I run Glitterpaws along with help and support from my husband Michael.

After moving to Ashington village in 2007, I decided to start up Glitterpaws to provide a personal home cat sitting service to the local area of Ashington and surrounding villages including Steyning, Storrington, Thakeham, Washington, Findon and Southwater.

I have had a passion and love for cats for pretty much as long as I can remember. I have owned 2 cats, my first, a beautiful black and white moggie called Trixie who I had for 13 years. In December 2007, we got a beautiful new kitten, Electra, who is an adorable blue spotted Bengal.

The key to my cat sitting service is to offer customers the convenience of being able to book holidays, take business trips, have weekends away or attend to any other sudden emergency without worrying about 'Who will look after the cat?'

As cats are territorial and don't like change, Glitterpaws provide a stress free and cost effective solution to a cattery. Your cats stay in the luxury of their own home and you have the peace of mind that your cat is being cared for while you are away.

I look forward to meeting you and your cat/s soon.

Kirstie from Glitterpaws has completed the following cat related courses:

Animal Aiders Cat First Aid Course

In November 2011, Kirstie completed the Animal Aiders Cat First Aid course. It was presented by a Veterinary Professional who aimed to give the attendees the most up-to-date and scientifically based information regarding Cat First Aid. Animal First Aid Course

In January 2012, Kirstie achieved an overall 'Outstanding' grade in the Animal First Aid course from New Curiosity Shop online college of learning. This was an interactive and hands on opportunity to acquire the necessary practical skills to assess and apply first aid to animals in emergency situations. The course covered pets living in the home but wildlife and birds were are also included. This course aims to give the student who has an interest in or daily contact with animals a broad exposure to first aid situations, outlining the treatments they are permitted to give under the current Veterinary Surgeons Act.
